This mid-Century sculpture is most likely an early work of artist Anker Hoffmann. It is signed "AH" on the back. The bronze is his preferred subject and style, but is not as smooth and defined as his more modern work is.

The sculpture depicts a woman, partially nude with a blanket over her lap and one hand raised to the sky. It retains its original patina and is in very good condition.

Measures approximately 8" long by 6 1/2" wide by 9" tall.
